The Redesign
We approached the redesign in two phases to deliver value quickly while laying groundwork for automation.
Phase 1: Admin-Driven Badges
Manual badge creation and assignment with no scheduled calculations, reducing engineering dependency and giving admins immediate control.
Phase 2: Data-Driven Badges
Automated triggers for retention, review quality, and tenure badges—powered entirely by PartnerSalesService and Postgres, avoiding deprecated systems.
Validating the designs
We tested the new badge system with a closed group of partners and admins.
